Greetings from the Chair of the Board
To the people of the world:
Central Japan International Medical Center is an international medical center located in the center of Japan as its name suggests. For half a century, I have worked under my philosophy of “All for the benefit of the patients.” I have saved the lives of many patients as a physician and hospital director and managed hospitals as the board chair of a social health care corporation.
Meanwhile, I have also been engaged in the activities of the Lions Club International, serving as the 99th International President since 2015. My study touring around the world for the four years as an executive officer reached the distance of 80 times the circumference of the earth. Not only could I come to know VIPs from many different countries, but I could also feel the current situation and needs of the world. I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit many facilities, from hospitals in countries that are medically under-equipped to those in medically advanced countries. These experiences are my precious assets.
Central Japan International Medical Center can be marked as the culmination of my life with distinguished contacts, knowledge, and Japanese advanced medical knowhow on a global scale.
Introducing newly developed medical equipment, the center was built in an American style for opening in January 2022. In addition to the hardware, its prominence includes excellent human resources. Eight of our doctors have been selected as the Best Doctors 2022-23 by mutual evaluation among doctors in Japan. All our team staff members are committed to providing thoughtful and attentive hospitality. This hospital has been certified as one of the "Japan Medical Services Accreditation for International Patients" hospitals since 2016 with medical interpreters available in seven languages. This hospital practices the essence of hospitality.
We look forward to providing medical care as comfortable as possible in Japan at international standards to people from around the world along with peace of mind.

State-of-the-art medical equipment
High-performance testing equipment, including “Elmammo” for breast cancer testing the first to be introduced in the world, is available. Precision testing can be performed in a short time, and even small lesions can be detected by the high-definition images.

Our staff will thoroughly explain the flow of the test in your native language. Although you may feel anxious about receiving a detailed examination, our staff will support to help you relax and not feel stressed.
Testing equipment
PET visualizes cancer and CT obtains position information. These have been combined to form one examination machine. Since the results of these two tests overlap, a more precise diagnostic image is possible, which is useful in the early detection of minute cancer.
The world's first PET scanner exclusive for the breast has been introduced. Since the breast is not pressed, the examination is painless. The women-friendly device can clearly visualize small, hard-to-find breast cancers.
The equipment uses magnetism and radio waves, and inside the body can be visualized. Since there is no exposure to X-rays (radiation), a person can receive an examination with peace of mind. By visualizing various tissues, effective early detection of adult diseases is possible.
An image with a width up to 16 cm can be captured in one shot only in 0.35 seconds. It demonstrates ability in testing cardiac diseases such as angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, etc.
The equipment can combine SPECT with CT in order to diagnose various functions such as metabolism and blood flow. This is useful in the early detection of dementia as represented by Alzheimer's.
